Extra-Large XL Fish Care Design

The Solar SP C-Tech Flat Fold Cradle | XL offers a generous 132cm x 72cm x 22cm handling area, making it particularly well suited to anglers targeting larger specimen carp.

The spacious design provides additional room for safely positioning and handling bigger fish, allowing anglers to carry out essential fish care procedures with greater confidence.

For those regularly fishing venues containing large carp, the XL configuration provides a welcome increase in handling space compared with smaller unhooking mats.

50mm High-Density Foam Protection

At the heart of the cradle is its substantial 50mm high-density foam mattress, providing excellent cushioning and support.

The thick protective foam helps reduce the risk of injury caused by contact with hard or uneven bankside surfaces during unhooking and handling.

Combined with the spacious XL dimensions, the mattress provides a supportive surface for larger carp.

Robust Padded Sidewalls

The cradle incorporates strong, padded sidewalls designed to provide additional protection around the fish.

These protective walls create a defined handling area, helping reduce the risk of carp coming into contact with surrounding ground surfaces.

The robust construction also improves durability, making the cradle suitable for frequent bankside use.

Removable Inner Mat – Two Fish Care Options

One of the most versatile features of the Solar SP C-Tech Flat Fold Cradle is its removable inner mat.

The inner section can be used independently as a standalone flat unhooking mat, providing two practical fish care configurations in one product.

This flexibility is particularly useful for anglers who fish different venues or prefer to adapt their equipment to changing bankside conditions.

Innovative Fold-Flat Design

Despite its extra-large dimensions, the cradle has been designed for convenient transportation and storage.

The clever fold-flat construction allows the cradle to pack down to just 66cm x 74cm x 22cm, making it easier to transport on a fishing barrow or store in your vehicle.

This design provides the protective benefits of a substantial XL cradle without the inconvenience of transporting permanently rigid sidewalls.

Zipped Sidewalls for Quick Setup

The zipped sidewall design allows the cradle to be assembled and packed away quickly and efficiently.

Once the sidewalls are lowered, the cradle can be folded into its compact transport configuration.

This makes setting up your fish care equipment straightforward, allowing you to have your cradle ready before casting out.

Reinforced C-Tech Webbing

For additional strength and longevity, the XL Flat Fold Cradle incorporates reinforced C-Tech webbing throughout.

This reinforcement helps maintain structural integrity and supports areas exposed to regular handling and transportation.

It's a premium construction feature designed for demanding carp fishing conditions.

Dura-Flex Pack-Away Buckles

The cradle features Dura-Flex pack-away buckles, designed to secure the folded cradle during transportation.

These robust fastenings help maintain a compact packed configuration, making the cradle easier to handle and store alongside other fishing equipment.

Quick-Release Shoulder Strap

The supplied shoulder strap attaches via quick-release clips, providing a convenient hands-free carrying option.

This is particularly useful when transporting your cradle alongside rods, luggage and other essential equipment.

The quick-release system also allows the strap to be removed when not required.

Attachable Dual Carry Handles

In addition to the shoulder strap, the cradle features attachable dual carry handles.

These provide an alternative carrying option, making it easier to lift and move the cradle between your vehicle, barrow and swim.

The combination of carrying options adds welcome versatility when transporting this larger XL model.

Rubberised Mesh Drainage Base

The rubberised mesh base provides effective drainage, allowing excess water to escape during use.

Keeping your unhooking cradle wet is an important part of responsible carp care, and the drainage design helps prevent unnecessary water accumulation.

This practical feature makes the cradle easier to manage during regular fish handling.

Premium SP C-Tech Camo Detailing

Finished in distinctive SP C-Tech camo material detailing, the XL Flat Fold Cradle complements Solar's premium carp fishing range.

The understated camouflage styling pairs particularly well with matching Solar luggage, chairs, bedchairs and other bankside accessories.

Designed for Serious Specimen Carp Anglers

When targeting larger carp, having suitable fish care equipment is essential.

The combination of generous XL dimensions, a 50mm high-density foam mattress and robust padded sidewalls makes the Solar SP C-Tech Flat Fold Cradle an excellent choice for specimen anglers.

Always thoroughly wet the cradle before use, keep fish supported and supervised, and return them to the water as quickly and safely as possible.

The innovative removable inner mat provides additional versatility, doubling as a standalone flat unhooking mat when required.

Despite its large size, the fold-flat design, zipped sidewalls and Dura-Flex buckles allow the cradle to pack down securely for convenient transportation.
