50mm High-Density Foam Protection

At the heart of the Solar SP C-Tech Flat Fold Cradle | Standard is its substantial 50mm high-density foam mattress.

This thick protective base provides excellent cushioning, helping protect carp from contact with hard or uneven ground during unhooking and other essential fish care procedures.

The high-density foam construction creates a supportive surface, making it particularly useful when handling valuable specimen carp.

For anglers who prioritise fish safety, the generous mattress thickness is a major advantage.

Robust Padded Sidewalls

The Solar SP C-Tech Flat Fold Cradle incorporates robust padded sidewalls designed to provide additional protection around the fish.

These protective walls help create a defined handling area and reduce the risk of direct contact with surrounding bankside surfaces.

The durable construction also contributes to the cradle's longevity, making it suitable for regular use throughout the fishing season.

As with all fish care equipment, carp should remain fully supported and supervised while on the cradle.

Removable Inner Mat – Two Fish Care Options

One of the most versatile features is the removable inner mat, which can be used independently as a traditional flat unhooking mat.

This allows anglers to choose between using the complete cradle with padded sidewalls or removing the inner section for a simpler flat mat setup.

The ability to adapt the product to different fishing situations makes it particularly useful for anglers who regularly visit a variety of venues.

Innovative Fold-Flat Design

Despite its protective construction, the Solar SP C-Tech Flat Fold Cradle has been designed with transportation and storage in mind.

The fold-flat design allows the cradle to pack down compactly, reducing the space required in your vehicle, fishing barrow or storage area.

With packed dimensions of just 50cm x 70cm x 22cm, it provides an excellent balance between protective performance and practical portability.

Zipped Sidewalls for Quick Setup

The cradle features zipped sidewalls, allowing it to transition efficiently between its protective setup and compact folded configuration.

This practical system makes assembly and pack-down straightforward, particularly useful when arriving at your swim or packing away after a session.

The zipped construction also contributes to the cradle's ability to fold flat for transportation.

Reinforced C-Tech Webbing

For additional strength and longevity, the cradle incorporates reinforced C-Tech webbing throughout.

This reinforcement helps support the overall structure and improves durability in areas exposed to repeated handling and transportation.

It's another premium construction detail that makes the SP C-Tech Flat Fold Cradle suitable for demanding bankside use.

Dura-Flex Pack-Away Buckles

The Solar SP C-Tech Flat Fold Cradle features premium Dura-Flex pack-away buckles, designed to keep the cradle securely fastened when folded.

These robust buckles help maintain a compact packed configuration, making transportation and storage more convenient.

They're particularly useful when securing the cradle alongside other equipment on your fishing barrow.

Quick-Release Shoulder Strap

The included shoulder strap attaches using quick-release clips, providing a convenient hands-free carrying option.

This makes it easier to transport the cradle alongside rods, luggage and other essential fishing equipment.

The quick-release design also allows the strap to be detached when not required.

Attachable Dual Carry Handles

Alongside the shoulder strap, the cradle features attachable dual carry handles.

These provide an alternative carrying method, allowing anglers to transport the cradle by hand when preferred.

The combination of shoulder strap and carry handles offers useful versatility when moving equipment between swims.

Rubberised Mesh Drainage Base

The rubberised mesh base is designed to provide effective drainage during use.

This is particularly beneficial when keeping the cradle wet for fish care, allowing excess water to drain away rather than collecting unnecessarily.

The drainage system contributes to a practical, easy-to-manage fish handling setup.

Premium SP C-Tech Camo Detailing

Finished with distinctive SP C-Tech camo material detailing, the cradle complements Solar's premium carp fishing range.

The understated camouflage styling pairs particularly well with matching Solar luggage, chairs, bedchairs and other fish care accessories.

Practical Standard-Size Dimensions

The Standard Flat Fold Cradle features a mat measuring 104cm x 65cm, providing a dedicated surface for carp handling.

When packed away, the cradle measures 50cm x 70cm x 22cm, making it easier to transport and store.

For anglers requiring a larger fish handling area, the Solar SP C-Tech Flat Fold Cradle is also available in an XL version.

Designed for Responsible Carp Care

Proper fish care is essential when handling carp, particularly larger specimens.

The combination of a 50mm high-density foam mattress, padded sidewalls and removable inner mat provides a versatile protective surface for bankside handling.

Always thoroughly wet the cradle before use, keep the fish supported and supervised, and return it to the water as quickly and safely as possible.

Ensure the Standard size is suitable for the fish being targeted and meets any specific fishery requirements.

Why Choose the Solar SP C-Tech Flat Fold Cradle | Standard?

The Solar SP C-Tech Flat Fold Cradle | Standard offers an outstanding combination of fish protection, practical design and convenient transportation.

Its substantial 50mm high-density foam mattress provides excellent cushioning, while the robust padded sidewalls offer additional protection during fish handling.

The removable inner mat adds versatility by doubling as a standalone flat unhooking mat, effectively providing two fish care configurations in one product.

For transportation, the clever fold-flat design, zipped sidewalls, reinforced C-Tech webbing and Dura-Flex buckles allow the cradle to pack away securely and compactly.

Combined with a rubberised mesh drainage base, quick-release shoulder strap and attachable dual carry handles, this is a premium fish care solution designed for serious carp anglers.
