JAG Prolite Black Micro Pod

The Micro Pod consists of 7 very compact components; a main bar, 4 legs and 2 uprights. These are quickly assembled into a seriously neatly constructed pod base.

The name 'Micro' is backed up by the mere 780g the Micro Pod weighs, and it is the first pod ever designed to go snag fishing. The foot on each leg has a unique machined flat face incorporating an anchor point, just place a ground peg through each of the feet or screw down onto a platform.

The Micro has a very low set profile with perfectly angled feet giving superior stability. It has a surprising ability to go from micro compact to conventional dimensions. Machined from JAG's usual high grade aluminium with super hard black anodising, the Micro features solid carbon inners for the main bar and legs. The complete Micro Pod kit comes supplied with a Platform SNAG kit consisting of 4 x 316 Stainless clamping collars, 5mm Hex key, 4 Torque head SPAX screws and Torque driver bit to fit magnetic holder in rear pod upright.

The Micro is sold as a complete pod less buzzbars. The main bar can be purchased separately for existing JAG users that have 4 short banksticks as they can be used for legs, Stage Bite inners used for the uprights or short banksticks will suffice.

How to set the 'MICRO' for snag fishing on a platform.;

1 - Assemble legs onto main bar and position on platform.

2 - Adjust length of main bar to suit rod length.

3 - Loosen thumb screws on all legs and allow flat feet to self-level, tighten thumb screws.

4 - Using the rear pod upright as a driver secure all 4 feet with the SPAX screws and 316 collars from the snag kit.

5 - Connect your buzz bars to the uprights so they are hand tight. (Buzz Bars are not supplied with the Micro Pod)

6 - Place uprights into the main bar and tighten with the end thumbscrew.

7 - Insert the 5mm Hex Key into the thumbscrew and with moderate force, tighten the upright.

8 - Next twist the buzz bar so that it tightens more securely to the upright than achieved by hand.

9 - Using the hex key loosen the thumbscrew securing the upright and re-square up buzzbar, re-tighten with 5mm hex key.

10 - Repeat this for the second buzzbar and you are now presented with an unmovable platform for snag fishing.
