Korda Flat Pear Inline Lead
The Korda Flatliner Inline Pear Lead offers anglers a condensed shape lead that is coupled with the two flat sides which makes it perfect for bolt rigs at short to medium range.
When it comes to your choice of lead, the flat pear-shaped lead lends itself to being fished on marginal slopes, the sides or back or gravel bars and in rivers thanks to its ability to hold well on the lake bed, thus ensuring plenty of hooking potential.
Its stone-like appearance and behaviour allow the terminal tackle item to blend in seamlessly to the fish's habitat with minimal disturbance.
This Korda nose-heavy flat lead finds the easiest path through the water so instead of fluttering down to the lake bed it will plummet down, side on and nose first, making it less effective in the silt than say a Swivel Pear lead.
The Korda Flatliner is devastating on gravel and Korda's Danny Fairbrass's first choice in these close-range, hard-bottomed situations; "I tried a Flatliner Pear on the steep gravel slope to see if it really did hook the carp quicker than a swivel lead of the same shape. To my amazement it really did! I had been testing the lead clips for so long I had ignored the inline lead - not any more!"
