Nash Scope Ops Sawn Off Retract Landing Net | 42"

Nash Scope OPS Sawn Off Retract Landing Net | 42"

The Nash Scope OPS Sawn Off Retract Landing Net | 42" takes compact carp fishing equipment to another level, combining a full-size 42-inch landing net with retractable arms, an extendable 1K carbon handle and an exceptionally compact 75cm packed length.

Designed around the Scope philosophy of maximum performance from minimal packed dimensions, the Sawn Off Retract is ideal for mobile anglers, stalking, tight swims, boat fishing and anyone looking to dramatically reduce the size of their landing net during transport.

The latest generation goes beyond previous Scope landing nets by incorporating retractable net arms. These significantly reduce transport length without compromising the full-size 42-inch dimensions required when landing carp.

The Sawn Off version also features a dedicated slide-and-twist fitting system, allowing even faster assembly than previous Sawn Off designs.

At the heart of the design is Nash's innovative temporary fish-retention system. Once a carp has been safely landed, the handle can be secured to the ground using a compatible Scope Butt Lock Peg (sold separately). The retractable arms can then be collapsed and the integrated Velcro retention loop used to secure the mesh around the fish.

This provides a practical temporary retention solution while you prepare your carp-care equipment, organise photography or get another rod back into the water.

A redesigned aluminium spreader block with overfit arm design makes assembly and pack-down straightforward, while the lightweight 1K carbon handle features an extendable twist-lock mechanism that allows the handle length to be adjusted to suit the fishing situation.

Ultra-Compact 75cm Pack-Down Length

The standout feature of the Scope OPS Sawn Off Retract Landing Net is its exceptionally compact packed size.

Thanks to the combination of a Sawn Off handle design and retractable net arms, the complete 42-inch landing net packs down to only 75cm long.

This makes it particularly well suited to anglers using compact Scope rod setups, helping reduce the overall length of equipment carried to the swim.

For stalking, travelling light, fishing from a boat or accessing difficult swims, the reduced packed dimensions provide a significant practical advantage.

Retractable 42-Inch Net Arms

Despite its exceptionally compact transport dimensions, the Sawn Off Retract retains a full-size 42-inch landing net.

The innovative retractable arms collapse down for transportation before extending into position when the net is required.

This allows anglers to benefit from a conventional full-size carp landing net while dramatically reducing the amount of space it occupies when packed away.

Innovative Temporary Fish-Retention System

The Scope OPS Sawn Off Retract introduces a practical new approach to temporary fish retention.

Once a fish has been safely landed, the handle can be secured to the bank using a separately available Nash Scope Butt Lock Peg.

The retractable arms can then be collapsed and the integrated Velcro retention loop used to secure the mesh around the carp.

This allows the fish to rest temporarily while you prepare your unhooking and carp-care equipment, organise photography or deal with another rod.

Slide-and-Twist Fitting System

The Sawn Off Retract model benefits from a new slide-and-twist fitting system specifically designed to make assembly faster and more straightforward.

This system works alongside the redesigned aluminium spreader block and overfit arm design to create a landing net that can be assembled quickly when required.

For mobile anglers regularly moving between swims, this quick setup and compact packed size make the Sawn Off particularly practical.

Extendable 1K Carbon Handle

A lightweight 1K carbon handle provides the combination of strength, reduced weight and premium construction expected from the Scope OPS range.

The extendable twist-lock mechanism allows the handle to be securely locked at different lengths depending on the fishing situation.

Fully extended, the handle reaches 198cm, providing useful reach for conventional bankside fishing while still allowing the length to be reduced for stalking, confined swims or boat work.

Redesigned Aluminium Spreader Block

The Scope OPS Sawn Off Retract features a redesigned aluminium spreader block with an overfit arm design.

This helps simplify assembly and pack-down while securely locating the retractable arms when the net is ready for use.

Combined with the slide-and-twist fitting system, it creates an efficient setup designed around the needs of highly mobile anglers.

Reinforced Mesh Construction

Key stress points throughout the landing net mesh are reinforced for increased durability, helping the net withstand the demands of regular carp fishing.

The mesh is finished with distinctive Scope Compass logo branding, complementing the premium OPS styling and the wider Nash Scope range.

Designed for Maximum Mobility

The Scope range has always been built around reducing packed dimensions without sacrificing performance on the bank, and the OPS Sawn Off Retract Landing Net pushes that concept even further.

With a packed length of just 75cm, it is an excellent choice for anglers carrying minimal equipment, stalking carp, fishing tight or overgrown swims and working from boats.

Once assembled, you still have the practicality of a full-size 42-inch carp landing net with a handle extending to 198cm.

Why Choose the Nash Scope OPS Sawn Off Retract Landing Net?

The Nash Scope OPS Sawn Off Retract Landing Net | 42" is designed for anglers who want the smallest possible transport dimensions without giving up the practicality of a full-size carp landing net.

Its combination of retractable 42-inch arms, Sawn Off construction and extendable 1K carbon handle allows the entire net to pack down to an impressive 75cm.

The innovative temporary retention system provides additional fish-care practicality, while the new slide-and-twist fitting system and redesigned aluminium spreader block make assembly quick and straightforward.

For mobile anglers, stalkers, boat anglers or anyone already using an ultra-compact Scope setup, the OPS Sawn Off Retract offers an exceptional combination of portability, practicality and fish-care functionality.
