Free Spirit blends Hankook and Toray carbon for the butt and tip sections, then wraps the blank with helical loop tape, creating a rod that excels in both casting distance and fish-playing action. Finished paint- and lacquer-free, the blank maintains its striking appearance for years to come — an unmistakable hallmark of Free Spirit quality.
Modern aesthetics meet practical performance: black seat fittings, black-framed stainless-steel guides, and subtle red tipping around the logo deliver a sleek, contemporary look. Each rod features DPS-style size 18 reel seats, black acetile collars, and butt caps, paired with abbreviated handles for precise control.
The range offers versatility for every angler and venue:
10ft 3lb model – 40mm butt guide to 12mm anti-frap tip; ideal for smaller waters or travelling light.
Three 12ft models – 3lb and 3.25lb test curves for all-round performance, 3.5lb for weedy waters and long-range casting; 50mm butt ring to 16mm anti-frap tip.
13ft 3.5lb SU model – built for serious distance casting, with the same high-performance ringing as the 12ft rods.
