Century C2 SP Custom Command & Control Carp Rod |12ft 3.6lb | Abbreviated | Alps Reel Seat

The Century C2 SP Command & Control Carp Rod is a purpose-built distance tool for anglers who demand extra power, refined control and premium custom aesthetics. Blending modern C2 blank technology with the fast taper and high-compression characteristics of the original SP models, this 12ft 3.6lb rod delivers the authority needed on larger waters while retaining the sensitivity required for precise fish play.

Designed for confident casters tackling demanding venues, the C2 SP 12ft 3.6lb excels when range, wind performance and the ability to handle heavier leads or larger PVA bags are priorities. The fast taper action ensures a forgiving tip to minimise hook pulls, while a reinforced butt section engages progressively under load to release energy smoothly for distance and accuracy.

Advanced Blank Technology

The C2 SP blank uses higher grade carbon materials and advanced construction methods to produce a slightly reduced diameter butt with increased power reserves. High Performance Resin and autoclave curing combine to offer a crisp, balanced feel and long-term action retention. The blank is finished with a custom PTFE/Silicone low scratch matt finish and black screen printed C2 logos for a premium appearance.

Custom Build Details

This custom specification pairs performance with modern styling. An abbreviated shrink handle improves balance and manoeuvrability in tight swims while keeping leverage for long-range casting. The premium Alps reel seat, matt black metal hoods and lock rings, and a lightweight guide configuration complete the build. The rod is designed and manufactured in the United Kingdom.

Distance and Control in One Rod

When compressed correctly, the Century C2 SP releases energy efficiently for impressive distance without sacrificing playability. The combination of a fast taper and reinforced butt provides both the casting authority to reach distant swims and the control to land fish confidently, even in testing conditions.
