Century ADV1 Stealth Carp Rod | 12ft 3.25lb | Full Shrink Handle | Minima Vortex Guides

The Century ADV1 Stealth 12ft 3.25lb is a highly refined multi-range carp rod designed to sit between softer playing rods and dedicated long-range tools. It offers a blend of casting performance and fish-playing finesse, making it a versatile choice for modern UK carp anglers who need a single rod that performs across a wide range of venues and situations.

Developed with input from distance casting specialist Danny Moeskops and experienced carp angler Frank Warwick, the ADV1 benefits from elite casting knowledge and practical angling experience. The blank loads progressively, tracks accurately and recovers quickly, delivering consistent distance, tight grouping and dependable performance season after season.

With a 12ft 3.25lb test curve, this model is positioned as the ultimate all-rounder in the ADV1 range. It offers a smooth mid-to-tip playing action, controlled compression for repeatable casts and the capability to fish with typical lead sizes used across small and medium UK venues.

Designed with Distance and Control in Mind

The ADV1 was conceived to bridge the gap between power and presentation. Its balanced action makes it suitable for anglers who require both casting efficiency and subtle playing characteristics when bringing fish to the bank. The Stealth specification adds a discreet aesthetic while retaining structural integrity and performance.

Advanced Carbon Construction

Constructed using premium carbon fibres, the ADV1 blank achieves a strong strength-to-weight ratio and a slim, well-balanced profile. Subtle 1k-1k carbon reinforcement in the butt and lower tip increases hoop strength and structural stability under load, while autoclave curing helps ensure long-term action retention.

Full Shrink Handle & Minima Vortex Guides

The Stealth specification includes a full-length Japanese shrink rubber handle for secure grip in varying conditions, a lightweight 1k-1k carbon reel seat with matching spacers, and Minima Vortex guides that reduce tip mass to improve recovery speed and casting efficiency. Jet black thread whippings are sealed with premium 2-pack epoxy and the rod is finished with a low-flash PTFE/Silicone sealant for UV resistance and added durability.
