Spomb Rapide Reel
The Spomb Rapide Reel is a purpose-built 14000-size spod reel engineered for ultra-fast baiting and effortless Spomb retrieval. Designed specifically for dedicated baiting work, it delivers exceptional winding speed, helping anglers spend less time retrieving and more time fishing.
With an impressive 145cm of line retrieved per handle turn, the Rapide Reel significantly reduces the effort required when repeatedly casting and retrieving loaded Spombs. This high-speed performance is ideal for heavy baiting sessions, allowing anglers to complete baiting tasks quickly and efficiently.
The reel features slow oscillation, ensuring excellent line lay for improved casting performance and reduced line friction. Its spool is designed to hold 300 metres of 0.18mm braided line, making it perfectly suited for long-range spod work.
For accurate and repeatable baiting, the Rapide Reel is fitted with two sprung range-casting line clips, allowing anglers to switch quickly between distances without damaging braided line.
Performance is further enhanced with an Anti-Reverse system, Rotor Brake, and a smooth 6+1 bearing system, providing reliable operation during intensive use. The powerful 5.7:1 gear ratio and maximum drag of 18kg (39.6lb) deliver the strength needed for repeated heavy retrieves.
