Wychwood Riot Recoil Compact Retractable Rods | 3 Rod Bundle

Wychwood Riot Recoil Compact Retractable Rods | 3 Rod Bundle

The Wychwood Riot Recoil Compact Retractable Rods | 3 Rod Bundle gives you three versatile compact carp rods designed to provide the performance of conventional carp rods without the transport problems associated with traditional two-piece 12ft models.

Built around Wychwood's innovative Recoil telescopic butt section, the rods collapse down to a significantly reduced transport length, making them ideal for anglers with smaller cars, those travelling on public transport or anyone looking for a compact three-rod setup that's easier to transport and store.

The Riot Recoil range has been designed around modern, opportunist carp fishing. Whether you're squeezing in a quick session before or after work, keeping tackle ready in the car or simply want to reduce the overall size of your rod luggage, the compact design makes getting on the bank considerably easier.

Despite their reduced packed dimensions, performance remains at the heart of the design. A high-modulus 24T carbon blank, ULW casting-efficient guides, Anti-Frap tip guides and dedicated playing and casting actions provide the characteristics required for serious carp fishing.

A robust DPS reel seat, Japanese full shrink-wrapped handle and machined 1K carbon line clip complete a modern compact rod package designed to cover a wide variety of fishing situations.

With three Wychwood Riot Recoil rods included in this bundle, it's an ideal option for anglers looking to build a complete compact three-rod carp fishing setup.

Three-Rod Bundle

This bundle includes three Wychwood Riot Recoil Compact Retractable Rods, providing a complete matching setup for anglers who prefer to fish with three rods where venue rules allow.

Rather than purchasing the rods individually, the bundle provides a straightforward way to create a matching compact rod setup.

It's particularly attractive for anglers who want all the versatility of a conventional three-rod carp setup while significantly reducing the space required to transport their rods.

Recoil Telescopic Butt Sections

The defining feature of the Riot Recoil range is the innovative telescopic butt section.

This allows each rod to retract to a significantly shorter transport length than a conventional two-piece carp rod.

Once extended for fishing, the rods provide the length and functionality required from a modern carp setup while packing back down into a much more manageable format at the end of the session.

Compact Transportation

Transporting three conventional carp rods can require substantial rod luggage and vehicle space.

The reduced packed dimensions of the Riot Recoil range make the complete three-rod setup considerably easier to manage.

This is particularly useful for anglers using modern city cars and smaller vehicles, where conventional 12ft rod holdalls can be difficult to accommodate.

The compact format also makes the Recoil range a practical option for anglers travelling by public transport.

Perfect for Opportunist Carp Fishing

The Riot Recoil concept is designed around making it easier to take advantage of opportunities to get on the bank.

A compact setup can be kept ready for those unexpected short sessions, whether that's a few hours after work, an early morning trip or simply making use of some spare time.

Reducing the transport size of your rods makes spontaneous carp fishing considerably more practical.

High-Modulus 24T Carbon Blank

Each Riot Recoil is built around a high-modulus 24T carbon blank, providing the foundation for its casting and fish-playing performance.

The blank construction maintains the slim, modern profile expected from contemporary carp rods while providing the performance required for regular fishing.

Dedicated Casting & Playing Actions

The Riot Recoil range incorporates dedicated playing and casting actions according to the individual rod specification.

This allows the compact concept to cover more than simply close-range or stalking situations.

Different length and test curve options allow anglers to choose a setup appropriate for their venue and style of fishing.

ULW Casting-Efficient Guides

The rods are fitted with ULW casting-efficient guides designed to promote efficient line flow during the cast.

The 9ft models feature a 40mm guide configuration, with the guide setup selected to complement the compact rod design and its intended performance.

Anti-Frap Tip Guides

An Anti-Frap tip guide helps reduce the possibility of line becoming wrapped around the tip during casting.

This provides additional reassurance during more powerful casts where clean line flow and dependable tackle performance are especially important.

Robust DPS Reel Seat

A proven DPS reel seat provides a secure mounting point for your chosen carp reel.

Its robust construction is well suited to regular carp fishing while maintaining the clean, understated appearance of the Riot Recoil range.

Japanese Full Shrink-Wrapped Handle

The rods feature a Japanese full shrink-wrapped handle, providing a comfortable and secure grip.

The full shrink finish also gives each rod a clean and modern appearance that complements the compact blank design.

Machined 1K Carbon Line Clip

A premium machined 1K carbon line clip provides a dedicated point for securing your mainline.

It's a useful addition for anglers fishing slack or semi-slack lines while also providing another quality finishing detail.

Multiple Length & Test Curve Options

The Riot Recoil range has deliberately been developed with different length, test curve and action options.

This allows anglers to select a compact rod that suits their particular fishing requirements rather than being restricted to a single specification.

The concept is designed to cover a broad range of situations normally approached with conventional carp rods.

Why Choose the Wychwood Riot Recoil Compact Retractable Rods | 3 Rod Bundle?

The Wychwood Riot Recoil Compact Retractable Rods | 3 Rod Bundle is ideal for anglers who want a complete matching three-rod setup without the transportation problems traditionally associated with longer carp rods.

The innovative Recoil telescopic butt sections significantly reduce packed length, making the rods easier to fit into smaller vehicles, carry on public transport and store at home.

Once on the bank, high-modulus 24T carbon blanks, ULW casting-efficient guides, Anti-Frap tip guides and dedicated casting and playing actions provide the performance required for serious carp fishing.

Robust DPS reel seats, Japanese full shrink handles and machined 1K carbon line clips complete the specification.

With three rods included, this bundle provides a practical solution for anglers wanting a complete compact carp rod setup that's equally at home on quick opportunist sessions or longer campaigns.
