Century Stealth Graphex Custom Rod | 12ft 3.5lb | 50mm Ti Forged guides | Alps Air Pad Reel Seat | Full Shrink

The Century Stealth Graphex is the flagship rod in the Century carp range, designed and manufactured using the brand's most advanced processes and highest grade aero specification carbon materials. Built in Century's UK factory where they have produced rods for over 45 years, the Stealth Graphex brings professional-level technology and premium components together to create a carp rod intended to perform at the highest level.

Every Stealth Graphex benefits from Century's complete control over design, materials, components and quality standards. The blank is produced using manufacturing techniques drawn from industry and motorsport, including autoclaving, computer-controlled cutting and precision carbon placement. Those methods result in a blank with superior consistency, durability and anti-twist characteristics.

Light in the hands yet exceptionally strong, the Stealth Graphex uses one of the highest modulus carbon materials available, reinforced with a Graphene resin system. The result is a blank that uses less material without compromising strength, delivering faster tip recovery, improved casting performance and a refined fish-playing action.

Advanced Manufacturing for Consistent Performance

Century's manufacturing process for the Stealth Graphex uses specialist machines and technologies not typically available to other rod makers. Autoclaving applies high pressure during heat curing to produce a more compact carbon wall free from air bubbles and voids. That process increases the blank's resistance to softening over time, helping the rod retain its action and strength for longer.

Precision Carbon Construction

Computer-controlled cutting machines and CAD-driven carbon placement allow Century to cut and lay carbon patterns to a fraction of a millimetre and at varying angles along the blank. This precision produces a finely balanced blank where each carbon pattern fits perfectly with the others, delivering consistent performance blank-to-blank and excellent resistance to torsional loads.

Graphene Reinforced Carbon for Lightness and Strength

The combination of high modulus carbon and a Graphene reinforced resin system lets Century use less material while maintaining exceptional strength and toughness. The practical benefits are a lighter rod for less fatigue when casting, faster tip speed recovery for improved bite detection and a pleasing, controlled playing action when fighting carp.

Improved Casting Distance and Accuracy

High anti-twist properties reduce line friction on the guides during the cast, which can translate to greater distance with less effort and improved accuracy. These characteristics suit anglers who demand precise casts at range and want a rod that performs reliably under varied conditions.
