The Nash Scope OPS Retract Landing Net | 42" takes the compact Scope concept to another level, combining a full-size 42-inch carp landing net with retractable arms, an extendable 1K carbon handle and an innovative temporary fish-retention system. Designed for anglers who value maximum mobility without compromising fish care, it packs down to just 115cm for convenient transportation.

Previous Scope landing nets used extendable handles to complement the compact pack-down dimensions of Scope rods. The latest OPS Retract design takes portability even further by introducing retractable landing net arms, significantly reducing transport length while retaining the dimensions and practicality required from a dedicated carp landing net.

At the heart of the design is Nash's innovative temporary fish-retention system. Once a carp has been safely landed, the handle can be secured to the ground using a compatible Scope Butt Lock Peg (sold separately). The retractable arms can then be collapsed and the integrated Velcro retention loop used to secure the mesh around the fish.

This provides a practical method of temporarily retaining the carp while you prepare your fish-care equipment, organise photography or get another rod back into position.

A redesigned aluminium spreader block features an overfit arm design, making assembly and pack-down quicker and more straightforward.
