Nash Scope Ops 4 Fold Pro Sleep System

Nash Scope OPS 4 Fold Pro Sleep System

The Nash Scope OPS 4 Fold Pro Sleep System is an exceptionally compact and versatile all-season carp sleep system designed around the mobile philosophy of the Scope range. Whether travelling by van, car, public transport or carrying your equipment on foot, the innovative four-fold design combines impressive portability with the comfort and thermal performance required for serious carp fishing.

One of the standout features is the ability to use the bedchair frame and mattress independently. The mattress can be completely removed from the frame and, using the supplied buckle and webbing system, rolled up with the sleep system attached before being secured to the top or bottom of a compatible Scope Rucksack.

The removable mattress features a heavy-duty waterproof PVC base, allowing it to be placed directly onto wet or muddy ground without moisture penetrating through to the sleeping surface. This creates an extremely versatile setup for anglers travelling light or fishing locations where carrying a conventional bedchair isn't practical.

Remove the mattress from the bedchair and the frame itself features a rubberised mesh sleeping surface, providing excellent airflow during hot summer conditions and allowing the frame to be used independently as a cool, breathable sleeping option.

Comfort is further enhanced by an adjustable head section offering four positions from completely flat through to upright, allowing the system to be configured for sleeping, relaxing or sitting up while watching the water.

For colder conditions, an upgraded puffer-baffled peachskin duvet improves warmth and heat retention, while a thermal box-ended foot section helps retain heat around the lower body. The underside combines smooth nylon with a comfortable microfleece foot liner.

With raised adjustable legs, customisable lumbar support and compatibility with a range of dedicated Scope accessories, the OPS 4 Fold Pro provides a highly adaptable all-season sleeping platform for the mobile carp angler.

Ultra-Compact Four-Fold Frame

The defining characteristic of the Scope OPS 4 Fold Pro is its innovative four-fold bedchair frame.

When packed, the complete system measures just 75cm x 65cm x 40cm, creating an exceptionally compact package for transportation and storage.

This reduced packed size is particularly useful for anglers travelling in smaller vehicles, using public transport or walking significant distances to reach a swim.

A pack-away waterproof rain cover can be fitted to the folded system during transport, helping keep the sleep system protected in wet conditions.

Detachable Mattress System

One of the most innovative aspects of the Scope OPS 4 Fold Pro is the ability to completely separate the mattress from the bedchair frame.

The mattress can be rolled together with the sleep system and secured using the provided buckle and webbing arrangement.

It can then be attached to the top or bottom of compatible Scope Rucksacks, allowing the mattress system to be carried directly on your back.

This provides mobile anglers with the option to leave the bedchair frame behind entirely when travelling extremely light.

Waterproof PVC Mattress Base

The detachable mattress features a heavy-duty waterproof PVC underside.

This allows the mattress to be placed directly onto damp or muddy ground without moisture penetrating through to the sleeping surface.

The PVC material is also wipe-clean, making it straightforward to remove mud and dirt after a session.

For anglers pushing into remote or difficult-to-access swims, this creates a highly flexible alternative to carrying a conventional complete bedchair setup.

Breathable Rubberised Mesh Frame

When temperatures rise, the mattress can be removed and the rubberised mesh bedchair base used as the sleeping surface.

The open mesh construction provides increased airflow around the body, creating a cooler and more breathable setup during hot summer nights.

This gives the Scope OPS 4 Fold Pro additional seasonal versatility, allowing the same bedchair to be configured differently according to the conditions.

Four Adjustable Head Positions

The head section provides four different positions ranging from completely flat through to upright.

This allows the sleep system to be customised depending on whether you're sleeping, relaxing or sitting up watching the water.

The adjustable headrest also removes the need to compromise between a completely flat sleeping position and the additional support required when sitting upright for longer periods.

Upgraded All-Season Duvet

For colder conditions, the Scope OPS 4 Fold Pro features an upgraded puffer-baffled peachskin duvet.

The revised baffle construction improves thermal performance and heat retention, while the thermal box-ended foot profile helps retain warmth around an area particularly susceptible to heat loss.

The underside of the duvet uses smooth nylon combined with a comfortable microfleece foot liner, providing a practical balance between easy movement and additional warmth.

The system carries an All Season rating, making it suitable for use throughout changing conditions.

Crash Zips with Velcro Locking System

Rapid exit is essential when a bite occurs during the night.

The integrated sleeping system uses crash zips for fast access, while Velcro closures on either side allow the zips to be locked when required.

This provides additional flexibility depending on whether maximum speed of exit or increased security and closure is preferred.

Adjustable Lumbar Support

Integrated lumbar elastics feature a locking toggle system, allowing the firmness of the bed to be adjusted according to personal preference.

Increasing or reducing the tension allows anglers to customise the level of support provided by the sleeping surface.

This is particularly useful during longer sessions where bedchair comfort and support become increasingly important.

Increased Under-Bed Storage

The adjustable legs provide a height range of 33cm to 43cm, creating increased clearance beneath the bedchair.

This allows additional equipment to be stored underneath the sleep system, including the Scope OPS Deploy Rucksack and other suitable luggage.

Using the otherwise wasted space beneath the bed helps maintain a more organised and compact bivvy or shelter setup.

Secure Setup on Uneven Ground

Adjustable legs and mud feet allow the Scope OPS 4 Fold Pro to be levelled across uneven banks.

The mud feet also incorporate peg holes, allowing the bedchair to be secured when fishing sloping banks or situations where additional stability is required.

Modular Scope Accessory System

Elastic toggle and loop attachment points allow a selection of dedicated Scope accessories to be added directly to the sleep system.

Compatible accessories include:

• T3739 Scope Pillow
• T3740 Scope Mozzi Shroud
• T3741 Scope Sleep System Heated Blanket
• T3752 Scope OPS All Season Bedchair Cover

This modular approach allows the sleep system to be adapted according to the season, conditions and individual requirements of each session.

Why Choose the Nash Scope OPS 4 Fold Pro Sleep System?

The Nash Scope OPS 4 Fold Pro Sleep System is designed for carp anglers who want to dramatically reduce the packed size of their sleeping equipment without sacrificing comfort or versatility.

Its four-fold frame packs down to only 75cm x 65cm x 40cm, while the removable mattress provides the option to travel even lighter by leaving the bedchair frame behind.

A waterproof PVC mattress base allows the mattress to be used directly on wet ground, while the breathable rubberised mesh frame provides an alternative sleeping surface during hot weather.

Add in the upgraded all-season duvet, four-position headrest, adjustable lumbar support, increased under-bed storage and extensive Scope accessory compatibility, and the result is an exceptionally versatile sleep system built around the demands of modern mobile carp fishing.
