Possibly the most advanced carbon technology ever to be used on a rod blank. Built using exactly the same carbons as the Hi-'S' Carp rods there has been no compromise with this rod 

The Hi S Spod rod will not appreciably soften, even with heavy use. Capable of reaching extreme ranges with larger spods, yet equally capable of casting small spods, spombs or even being used with a Method Blasting pouch, this rod stays accurate regardless of the baiting tool used or distance fished. Finished in 1k weave with the 'Perdurable blank finish, 1k Clone seat, all stainless fittings and 'S'-Lite guides and available as standard with either 50mm or 40mm ringing.

Hi-S carp rods combine a good playing action with exceptional casting abilities. With the exception of the Hi-S 200 and the Hi-Sive rods, all models demonstrate a crisp progressive action. However, the high modulus, low resin carbon used in the blank increases the recovery rate resulting in a far better casting tool than the action suggests.

Hutchy Build

New for 2021 is the Hi S Hutchy Build which has been designed by casting legend Mark Hutchinson. These rods feature the same striking cosmetics as the rest of the Hi S range, but with the butt ring and other intermediates whipped slightly higher up on the blank, a slightly longer than normal handle for increased casting leverage and a 'Hutch Spec' logo. They also feature a Kigan anti frap tip guide which are notorious for their unique design and durability, making this rod an absolute weapon in the right hands.
