Fox EOS 11 2 Person XL Skin

Fox EOS 11 2 Person XL Skin

The Fox EOS 11 2 Person XL Skin is a practical carp fishing bivvy overwrap designed to transform a compatible Fox EOS 2 Person XL Bivvy into a more comfortable, weather-resistant twin-skin shelter. Providing an additional layer of protection against the elements, this purpose-designed bivvy skin helps improve insulation, reduce condensation and create valuable extra storage space.

Ideal for anglers who fish throughout the year, the Fox EOS 11 2 Person XL Skin offers excellent versatility across changing seasons. During colder winter sessions, the additional outer layer helps retain warmth inside the bivvy, while in warmer summer conditions, the twin-skin arrangement can help reduce heat build-up from direct sunlight.

One of the main advantages of adding a bivvy skin is the reduction of internal condensation. By creating an additional layer between the bivvy and the outside environment, the skin helps minimise moisture forming on the inside of the shelter, providing a more comfortable environment during overnight sessions.

The skin also creates additional covered storage space, making it ideal for keeping items such as waders, footwear and bait protected from the elements without taking up valuable room inside the main bivvy.

Manufactured from material featuring an impressive 8,000mm hydrostatic head, the Fox EOS 11 2 Person XL Skin offers dependable waterproof protection during wet and changeable weather conditions.

Despite its generous coverage, the skin weighs just 4.7kg and packs down to a compact 58cm x 17cm x 17cm, making it convenient to transport and store alongside your existing bivvy equipment.

For anglers looking to enhance the comfort, practicality and weather protection of their Fox EOS shelter, this purpose-designed skin is an excellent addition.

Create a Protective Twin-Skin Bivvy System

The Fox EOS 11 2 Person XL Skin is designed to create a twin-skin system when fitted over the corresponding Fox EOS bivvy.

This additional outer layer provides an extra barrier between the main shelter and the surrounding environment.

The twin-skin configuration offers several practical advantages, including improved temperature regulation, reduced condensation and additional protection during changing weather conditions.

For anglers who regularly fish overnight, these benefits can make a significant difference to bankside comfort.

Increased Warmth During Winter

Cold weather can make extended carp fishing sessions particularly demanding.

By adding an extra layer over the main bivvy, the Fox EOS skin helps improve insulation and reduce heat loss.

This makes the shelter more comfortable during autumn and winter sessions, particularly when temperatures fall overnight.

For anglers who fish throughout the colder months, the additional protection is a worthwhile upgrade to their existing bivvy setup.

Helps Keep Your Bivvy Cooler in Summer

The benefits of a twin-skin shelter aren't limited to winter fishing.

During warmer weather, the additional outer layer can help reduce the amount of direct solar heat reaching the main bivvy.

This can help maintain a more comfortable internal environment during summer sessions, particularly when the shelter is exposed to prolonged sunlight.

The result is a more versatile bivvy setup suitable for use throughout the year.

Reduced Internal Condensation

Condensation is a common issue inside fishing shelters, particularly during colder nights or when there is a significant difference between internal and external temperatures.

The Fox EOS 11 2 Person XL Skin helps reduce condensation by creating an additional protective layer around the main bivvy.

This can help minimise moisture forming on the inside of the shelter, reducing the likelihood of dampness affecting your sleeping area and equipment.

For anglers spending multiple nights on the bank, reduced condensation can make the bivvy considerably more comfortable.

8,000mm Hydrostatic Head Protection

The skin features an 8,000mm hydrostatic head, providing dependable waterproof protection against rain and wet weather.

This level of water resistance makes it a practical addition for anglers who regularly encounter changing conditions.

Whether you're fishing during spring showers, autumn rainfall or unsettled winter weather, the additional outer layer helps protect your shelter from the elements.

Additional Covered Storage Space

One of the most useful advantages of fitting the Fox EOS skin is the creation of additional covered storage space.

This extra area is ideal for keeping bulky or potentially wet equipment outside the main sleeping area while still providing protection from the weather.

Items such as waders, footwear and bait can be stored more conveniently, helping keep the inside of your bivvy organised and comfortable.

This is particularly beneficial during longer sessions when equipment and storage requirements increase.

Ideal for Extended Carp Fishing Sessions

For anglers who regularly spend several nights on the bank, additional shelter protection can make a noticeable difference.

The combination of improved insulation, reduced condensation and extra storage space makes the Fox EOS skin particularly useful during extended carp fishing sessions.

It allows anglers to adapt their existing bivvy to a wider range of weather conditions without needing to replace the complete shelter.

Compact Packed Dimensions

Despite the additional coverage it provides, the Fox EOS 11 2 Person XL Skin packs down to just 58cm x 17cm x 17cm.

These compact dimensions make it convenient to transport alongside your bivvy and other fishing equipment.

Whether you're loading a fishing barrow or organising your vehicle, the manageable packed size helps make transportation straightforward.

Practical 4.7kg Weight

Weighing 4.7kg, the skin provides an additional protective layer without adding excessive bulk to your fishing setup.

For anglers who prioritise comfort during longer sessions, the extra weight is a practical trade-off for improved weather protection and shelter versatility.

Designed for the Fox EOS 2 Person XL Bivvy

The skin is designed for use with the corresponding Fox EOS 2 Person XL Bivvy, helping create a coordinated twin-skin shelter system.

Its purpose-designed construction makes it an excellent upgrade for anglers who already own the compatible Fox EOS bivvy.

Please note: This product is the bivvy skin only. The main bivvy is not included.
