These specially toughened hookbaits have been developed for use when encountering problems with both nuisance species, or when wishing to leave your rigs in place for extended periods of time. Based around the matching boilie flavour, which in this case is the highly anticipated Bug, they include a blend of hardening agents to ensure both the outer skin and core of the bait are toughened sufficiently to withstand unwanted attention over a long time frame.

During testing these baits were still catching fish days after being introduced to the water, even during high summer water temperatures. As a ‘match the hatch’ hookbait goes, these are top of the tree!

The smell of the bug is not what you may expect from its name, DNA have smoothed out the aroma of the bait with a creamy, powdered taste enhancer, along with a unique and proven flavour blend they have successfully used for years. This combination gives the bait an almost creamy, chocolate malt-type of aroma. If you’re brave enough to taste it, you’ll be greeted with a lovely nutty, creamy flavour that certainly isn’t expected.
