Century C2 SP Command & Control Carp Rod |12ft 3.6lb Minima Rings | Abbreviated Handle

The Century C2 SP Command & Control Carp Rod brings a purposeful evolution of the original C2 platform for anglers demanding increased casting authority while retaining the celebrated playing action of the C2 family. The 12ft 3.60lb model establishes a balanced distance performer, providing the reach and power needed for medium to large venues and extended range fishing.

Built from advanced carbon construction and the latest blank engineering, the C2 SP combines a fast taper SP-style action with the refined, responsive characteristics that made the original C2 so respected across Europe. The abbreviated handle and Minima TiCH rings promote improved balance and reduced tip weight for increased recovery speed and casting efficiency.

Designed and manufactured in the United Kingdom, this model is aimed at anglers who target distance, fish in strong headwinds, or cast heavier leads and larger PVA bags. When loaded and compressed correctly the rod opens up to deliver serious casting potential without sacrificing control during the fight.

Advanced Blank Engineering

The C2 SP benefits from higher grade carbon materials and an overlap joint design that produces a smooth, continuous action. The blank uses a 1k-1k carbon outer weave and a High Performance Resin system, cured with Autoclave Technology to improve toughness and long-term action retention. The result is a crisp, responsive blank that remains stable under compression.

Abbreviated Handle and Minima Rings

The abbreviated shrink handle reduces overall weight and enhances balance, especially important when fishing long range. The AT Minima TiCH guides reduce tip weight to boost recovery speed and casting efficiency, while the Century Carbon 1k-1k reel seat with matt black metal hoods adds a refined, functional finish.

Designed for Distance and Control

The fast taper SP-style action retains tip sensitivity to reduce hook pulls while a reinforced butt section provides the power reserves required when the rod is properly loaded. This combination gives anglers a tool that casts for distance yet still offers confident control when playing fish.
