Bristol Docks Hit Top Form

Bristol Docks Hit Top Form

1 min read
Thursdays match was the best of the year, so far. Conditions were perfect and the fish really fed well, very little wind and a gentle undertow encouraged the quality fish to feed.
Top rod was Dave Shore who caught 18lb 4oz of bream, skimmers and roach, the best roach weighed 2lb. Maggot over groundbait was the succesful method from peg 9 at Baltic Wharf. Second on the evening was Andy Currie with 16lb 8oz of bream, roach and eels, from peg 10. Third was the ever consisitent Dave Clutterbuck, now retired and enjoying every minute of it, with 16lb 6oz, again skimmers, roach and bream from peg 12.
4th Merv Sivell 14lb 6oz
5th Pete Ellis 13lb 13oz
6th Pete Sivell 12lb 4oz
7th Rob Garland 11lb 12oz
August is the best time of the year to fish the Docks, Baltic Wharf is the place at the moment, and its FREE
