The weather yesterday started off cold then turned wet, but it didnt put off the skimmers feeding in the final round of the evening series. The water was coloured and the wet and windy conditions made it difficult conditions for the anglers.
Pete Ellis was top on the night with 17lb 10oz of bream and skimmers caught on the groundbait feeder with maggot. Aaron Britnell was second with 8lb 1oz he had 2 bream an a 1.5lb F1 on the groundbait feeder with maggot. Alan Healey was third with 4lb 1oz, just 2 bream.
Pete Sivell was fourth with 4lb 8oz, he caught 2 bream, late on the the pole, pinkie was the successful hookbait. Petes brother Merv was fifth with a couple of skimmers for 2lb 6oz and Andy Curry was sixth with 2lb 3oz.
