The Thursday evening match was fished at Mud Dock and Police Launch stretch of the docks, the water was clear, but a cold easterly wind kept the weights down.
Top rod on the night was Jason Bird with 10lb 3oz, he included a big bream amongst his roach catch, all on the pole with maggots. Second was John Macey with 8lb 11oz of skimmers and roach all caught on the pole, maggot being the bait.
Andy Curry was third with 8lb of skimmers and roach, from peg 6 and Dave Clutterbuck was fourth with 7lb 3oz of roach and ruffe from end peg 1.
Pete Sivell was fifth with 6lb 5oz of roach and perch, all on the pole with maggot and Pete Ellis had 6lb of roach and perch for sixth overall.
