Bristol Docks really showed its form on boxing day, when the thursday night regulars had a boxing day knock up at redcliffe wharfe.
Top rod was Merv Sivell with 36lb 14ozs of ROACH, a superb net of fish, maggot and groundbait at 8m was the successful method, Ray Cooper was second with 25lb 6oz of roach on caster and groundbait, Steve Preece had 16lb 10oz for third and Rob Garland had 14lb 10oz for 4th, Jason bird was 5th with 14lb.
This match was fished between 10am and 3pm, and the weights were a lot better than the evening matches, so if you fancy giving it a go, its free fishing.
