On wednesday I did a feature for the Angling Times at Puriton on the Gloucester Canal, the fishing was absolutely brilliant, I caught 40 bream all between 3 and a half and five pounds.

Keep an eye out for it, it should be out in the next couple of weeks. Anyone who knows this area of the canal, I fished by the log ponds, normally at this time of the year the bream have finished spawning and gone back to their normal haunts, but this year they seem to be hanging around, so if you fancy a real netful get up there quick.
