Fox Frontier X in Depth:

Fox aimed to make the Frontier bivvy range the ultimate angler’s bivvy and every feature of the Frontier X has been designed with this goal in mind. Here’s a closer look at some of the features you’ll love the most.

Quick, Convenient Set Up and Pack Away

Like all bivvies in the Frontier range, the X features a new patent-pending boss system that Fox calls the Easy Tensioning System or ETS. This new boss mechanism has a reinforced aluminium skeleton and supports the bivvy from the centre.

Additional support isn’t the only advantage of the ETS, it also makes the bivvy lightning quick to set up and pack away so you can turn more focus to your fishing.

Fox VenTec Material

Fox bivvies have become known for their durable VenTec fabric, which is present on this bivvy. The hardwearing waterproof VenTec material surrounds the bivvy while a laminate "blackout" layer lines the inside.

As you’d expect from VenTec, the waterproof rating is top-class at 20,000mm Hydrostatic head, which will keep you dry on the bank in all conditions.

The Frontier bivvies have openings on all panels of the bivvy so you can adjust airflow to the weather and your preferences. The vents are covered with a mosquito mesh but can also be fully opened.

Flat Back Shape

The shape of the Frontier bivvy has been thoughtfully designed to optimize the amount of internal space available Thanks to a high roof and flat back shape.

The flat back is a very handy feature since it lets you push your bedchair all the way into the bivvy. This means there won’t be any wasted floor-space behind the bed and gives you more room to move at the front of the bivvy.

The higher roof design adds to the comfort of the Frontier X bivvy as it means you can move more without stooping too low.
