How it works

The Red Mist mix relies on contrasting ingredient behaviors to present a dynamic feeding site. Small food items within the mix will suspend at different depths, encouraging competitive feeding — a useful effect when fishing zigs. At the same time, the soluble fish proteins disperse amino acids through the water column, maintaining interest beyond the initial cloud.

Preparation tip

Prepare Red Mist by adding water slowly until you reach a soupy consistency. After standing for a while you may need to add more water to restore the required consistency. This ensures the mix will form the intended cloud and perform correctly whether used as slop or as a stick mix.
