The Avid VTX+ Snag Ears are a practical upgrade designed exclusively for Avid VTX+ Bite Alarms, providing extra rod security when fishing snaggy venues, steep banks or demanding situations where rods are more likely to be pulled from the rests during aggressive takes.

Manufactured to integrate perfectly with the VTX+ alarm system, these snag ears fit securely using the supplied replacement backplate, creating a neat, factory-fitted appearance while maintaining the performance of your bite alarms.

For added convenience, the snag ears can be removed individually or as a pair during transport, allowing you to tailor your setup to suit your fishing style. When the snag ears are not fitted, the included replacement bungs screw into the backplate to prevent dirt, dust and water from entering the mounting points.

Each pack contains one replacement backplate, two snag ears, and two replacement bungs, providing everything required for a straightforward installation.
