Avid VTX+ Illuminated Snag Ears

The Avid VTX+ Illuminated Snag Ears are the perfect upgrade for your Avid VTX+ Bite Alarms, providing enhanced rod security while adding customisable illuminated indication for improved visibility in all fishing conditions. Designed exclusively for the VTX+ alarm range, they integrate seamlessly with your alarms for a clean, factory-fitted appearance.

Installation is quick and straightforward thanks to the weather-sealed replacement backplate, which connects directly to the alarm using a USB-C connection. Powered entirely by the VTX+ alarm, the snag ears require no separate batteries, keeping your setup simple, reliable and easy to maintain.

Twin internal LEDs replicate all of the alarm's LED functions, including multiple colour options, three adjustable brightness levels, forward and backward run indication, and a convenient nightlight mode, allowing you to fully customise your visual indication.

The snag ears can be removed individually or together for transport, giving you complete flexibility depending on your fishing style. When the snag ears are detached, the supplied replacement bungs screw into the backplate to prevent dirt and water from entering the unit.

Each pack contains one illuminated backplate, two snag ears and two replacement bungs.
