This Avid Spod Reel features a super-fast retrieve, bullet proof gearing and a robus construction that enables the angler to retrieve Spombs and large marker floats with ease, reducing fatigue, helping you to fish to your limits. Avid Carp have specially engineered the spool of this spod reel to perfectly hold 300m of the dediated Avid Spod/Marker Braid, making spooling up much easier and also reducing the worry or chance of overfilling/underfilling when spooling up. If that was not enough, there is also a rubberised spool band for ease when spooling.

The clutch system on this Avid XR Pro Spod Reel is super smooth and features a fast drag system that allows line to be paid off under control with just half a turn of the drag knob, markering with the ultimate precision. Slow oscillation thanks to the worm shaft oscillation system means that the line lay on this spod reel is superb and perfect every time significantly reducing frap ups. Avid Carp have also included 2 line clips on this spod reel for ease of clipping to multiple spots, helping you map and bait your swim with ease time after time.
